Sigma is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to serve as its senior nursing and clinical executive during this pivotal period. Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the senior nursing executive for a globally recognized professional association dedicated to advancing nursing leadership and scholarship
  • Help Sigma expand its relevance beyond academia and deepen engagement with clinical and other nurses globally
  • Serving as Sigma’s senior nursing voice
  • Partnering closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure nursing and clinical strategy align with Sigma’s new strategic framework

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Nursing, doctorate highly preferred
  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 7-10 years progressive administrative and/or executive leadership experience
  • Experience in a nonprofit professional or service organization/association
  • A highly collaborative, relationship driven, forward thinking leader who brings a balanced Nursing voice
  • Ability to lead effectively through ambiguity, drive change management initiatives, and shape organizational culture during periods of growth and transformation
  • Strong financial/business acumen and contract negotiation skills
