We are hiring a Chief Marketing Officer to operate as an enterprise growth architect, reporting directly to the CEO. The CMO will own the brand and growth agenda across all markets, shaping foundational strategy, defining structural affordability levers, influencing product priorities, and delivering measurable commercial impact. This role requires true ownership of the brand, deepening and harmonising its meaning and purpose, and deliberately shaping the customer experience across markets. The CMO will align marketing tightly with the operating model, lead a clear affordability and growth strategy, and drive radical improvements in ROI and accelerated growth. Success demands a combination of uncompromising, data led performance discipline and the heart and vision to elevate the brand and customer experience.
Job Responsibility:
Define and own the enterprise brand vision end to end across all markets
Clarify and harmonise what the brand stands for and what it means to customers
Elevate positioning beyond price and promotion to drive emotional connection and long-term differentiation
Lead breakthrough, tier-1 campaigns from strategic intent through execution
Ensure brand coherence while maintaining market relevance
Raise creative and execution standards across markets and agency partners
Own the enterprise growth strategy with full accountability for profitable customer expansion across markets
Define and lead the end to end affordability agenda, identifying structural levers and translating them into product and commercial priorities
Build and scale a best in class CRM engine across acquisition, lifecycle and retention for the core customer base
Own company wide pricing and promotions architecture, ensuring disciplined test & learn execution
Drive measurable step change improvements in marketing ROI and capital efficiency
Embed analytics, experimentation and performance management as core operating principles across markets
Align growth strategy tightly with the operating model to ensure scalable execution
Own the subscription growth engine across markets
Drive structural improvements in subscriber conversion, retention and lifetime value
Strengthen churn management and renewal performance through rigorous cohort analysis
Partner with Product and Commercial teams to continuously enhance the premium value proposition
Ensure clear performance tracking and accountability for subscription economics
Set media strategy and allocate budgets across countries and channels with strict ROI discipline
Lead continuous optimisation through structured testing and performance tracking
Elevate agency accountability and execution standards
Ensure disciplined capital allocation aligned with growth priorities
Oversee talabat’s partnership vertical, defining a high-growth strategy that balances consumer centricity with financial sustainability
Empower team to secure high-value partnerships while collaborating with Product and Tech to build features and levers required to fuel growth
Own full lifecycle from strategic direction and budget governance to championing cross-functional execution
Requirements:
Has owned a brand end to end at enterprise scale, beyond spend management
Solid experience across multiple areas: brand, campaigns, media agencies, performance marketing, CRM, subscriptions, and growth
Has shaped structural growth strategy, including affordability and product implications
Has delivered radical ROI improvement and accelerated growth
Is deeply analytical, detail oriented and performance driven
Simultaneously brings strong brand instinct and customer vision
Is comfortable operating at both strategic and granular levels
Strong people leader who has led large, complex, multi-country organisations in competitive, consumer facing environments
