Job Description:

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is a senior executive responsible for establishing and maintaining the bank's information security strategy and ensuring that all information assets and technologies are adequately protected. The CISO plays a critical role in safeguarding the bank's data, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and mitigating risks associated with cybersecurity threats.

Job Responsibility:

Strategic Leadership: Develop, implement and manage bank's information security strategy
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable information security regulations
Risk Management: Identify, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks
Incident Response: Establish and maintain incident response capability
Security Awareness: Promote culture of security awareness
Security Architecture & Innovation: Evaluate, design and implement advanced security systems
Vendor Management: Assess and manage security posture of third-party vendors
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor information security team
Security Operations: Enable cyber intelligence, security monitoring, detection and response, digital forensics, threat and vulnerability management

Requirements:

Establish and maintain the bank's information security strategy
Ensure information assets and technologies are protected
Deep understanding of regulatory environment in Mexico
Compliance with National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) regulations and other financial regulations
Knowledge of Information Security International Standards
Develop, implement and manage information security strategy, policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with Mexican authorities including Banxico and CNBV guidelines, LFPDPPP and other legislation
Identify, assess and mitigate cybersecurity risks
Develop and manage comprehensive risk management program
Establish and maintain robust incident response capability
Lead response to security breaches or incidents
Promote security awareness culture
Develop and oversee training programs
Evaluate, design, govern and implement advanced security systems
Assess and manage security posture of third-party vendors
Lead and mentor information security team
