The Chief Information Security Sourcing Category Lead is a critical senior-level role responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all procurement activities within the CISO domain. This individual will drive the purchase of software, hardware, and professional services essential for the CISO business line, focusing on optimizing value, managing risk, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with both CISO and broader organizational goals
Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal business partners, key strategic suppliers, and critical stakeholders across all management levels
Negotiate market-leading contract and commercial terms for new product acquisitions and manage existing regional and global supplier contracts
Identify and drive significant cost reductions, supplier consolidation opportunities, and improvements in service delivery and process efficiency
Serve as an end-to-end supply chain and sourcing Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing valuable market insights to supported business units
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to company policy
Lead and directly supervise a group of Sourcing Managers at a global level
Oversee Requests for Proposal (RFPs), supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain, specifically within software (cybersecurity experience is a plus) hardware, and related professional services
Demonstrated success in consistently achieving significant savings goals and other key performance metrics
Proven expertise in contract and vendor management
Exceptional relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Advanced computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to thrive and contribute effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Consistently demonstrates clear, concise, and impactful written and verbal communication
Bachelor's degree or University equivalent experience in a relevant field (eg: Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics)
Master's degree preferred
CPM, PMP and/or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification is highly preferred
