We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team in Hampton Roads, Virginia. This role is pivotal in driving financial strategy, overseeing capital markets activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards. The ideal candidate will excel in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a strategic mindset to enhance organizational growth and performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide financial strategies to support long-term goals and value creation
  • Manage capital markets activities, including debt and equity transactions, refinancing, and structured financing initiatives
  • Act as the primary liaison with financial institutions, investors, and capital providers, fostering strong relationships
  • Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, and performance analysis
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard organizational integrity

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in private banking, investment banking, or profit-focused investment platforms
  • Proven track record of financial leadership within asset-intensive or real estate sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets, structured finance, and institutional investor engagement
  • Exceptional executive presence with strong communication skills to work effectively with Boards, investors, and senior leadership
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on financial execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
