We are looking for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a privately held global manufacturing organization in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position will oversee core finance activities, strengthen financial visibility, and support sound decision-making across the business. The CFO will work closely with executive leadership, ownership, and the Board to guide performance, shape long-range plans, and align capital strategy with company goals.
Job Responsibility
Direct the full scope of finance operations, including accounting oversight, forecasting, budgeting, internal controls, and timely financial analysis
Deliver clear and accurate financial reporting that equips executives, ownership, and Board stakeholders to evaluate results and business performance
Lead month-end close activities to ensure reporting deadlines are met and financial information is complete, reliable, and decision-ready
Develop cash flow strategies and capital planning recommendations that support liquidity, investment priorities, and overall financial stability
Advise leadership on debt structure, funding considerations, and capital allocation to balance growth objectives with financial risk
Partner with senior leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights that improve operational performance and profitability
Establish and refine finance processes and supporting business systems to improve efficiency, control, and reporting consistency
Contribute to long-term business planning by evaluating financial outcomes, strategic opportunities, and resource requirements across the organization
Requirements
15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including senior-level responsibility within complex business environments
Demonstrated success leading financial reporting, planning, controls, and month-end close processes
Strong background in cash flow analysis, capital management, and debt-related financial strategy
Experience preparing and presenting board reporting materials for executive and ownership audiences
Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner to executive leadership and influence high-level business decisions
Familiarity with business systems that support financial operations, reporting accuracy, and process improvement
Prior experience within manufacturing or a similarly operationally intensive industry is strongly preferred
