We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in Methuen, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in driving the financial success and sustainability of the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in financial management, team leadership, and compliance, while fostering collaboration across departments.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, ensuring long-term sustainability and organizational growth
Oversee the preparation and management of annual budgets, monitoring expenditures and analyzing variances to optimize resources
Provide financial insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team, supporting strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings and grant reporting requirements
Direct core accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
Collaborate with external partners, including auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies, to maintain strong financial relationships
Supervise patient accounting and revenue cycle operations, ensuring timely billing, reimbursement, and collections
Implement and monitor financial systems and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting
Manage and develop Finance and Patient Accounts teams, providing leadership, training, and performance evaluation
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations and organizational policies
Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or a related field
Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and develop cross-functional teams
Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficiency in managing compliance with regulatory and grant-related financial requirements
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners
Knowledge of patient accounts, revenue cycle operations, and reimbursement practices
Familiarity with health insurance policies and financial systems in healthcare environments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making
