Job Responsibility:
Build multi-year growth strategies and capital allocation models
Serve as lead financial advisor in stipend and subsidy negotiations
Identify and model financial support needs for service line expansion or joint ventures
Lead enterprise capital allocation strategy
Ensure investment decisions align with long-term physician shareholder value and risk tolerance
Lead strategy and contract negotiations with billing vendors
Lead strategy for Managed Care contracting
Monitor legislative impacts on the group's revenue
Design and refine physician compensation models
Oversee strategic management of partner distributions and equity buy-in/buy-out structures
Act as primary fiduciary for BPA’s 401(k) Plan
Collaborate with HR to ensure benefit sustainability
Act as BPA’s primary financial representative to external partners
Lead negotiations and relationship management with external financial stakeholders
Provide mentorship and executive guidance to Controller and accounting/payroll team
Serve as lead financial representative at Board and Finance Committee meetings
Maintain oversight of BPA’s balance sheet, liquidity position, and reserves
Develop downside, stress‑test, and contingency financial models
Ensure strong internal financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance
Oversee integrity and alignment of financial data across systems
Drive development of financial dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting tools
Lead selection, implementation, and optimization of enterprise financial systems
Requirements:
MBA/MHA in Finance or Accounting required
active CPA license highly desirable
12+ years of progressive financial leadership, specifically within a physician-owned group, or hospital-based medical group
Mastery of healthcare subsidy modeling, managed care negotiation, and partnership-style (PLLC) financial structures
Experience with enterprise-level financial platforms and HRIS/Payroll systems (e.g., UKG Pro)
