Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing, cost accounting, and ERP systems. The CFO will work closely with the President and leadership team to shape financial strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting processes to support company objectives
  • Provide financial insights and decision support to the leadership team and stakeholders
  • Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data and analysis
  • Present key financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead efforts to improve ERP systems in support of manufacturing and financial operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting, data accuracy, and workflows
  • Support and train team members on ERP system use and best practices
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and compliance procedures
  • Coordinate with external partners for tax filings, insurance reviews, and audit support
  • Oversee initiatives related to corporate and shareholder tax matters, including R& D credits
  • Provide oversight for IT security, compliance, and infrastructure planning
  • Review and approve IT investments to support operational needs
  • Support lifecycle planning and technology improvements
  • Contribute to benefits planning, compensation strategy, and workforce development
  • Review and approve salary adjustments and compensation ranges
  • Provide support on compliance and documentation for HR processes
  • Lead and support the finance, HR, IT, and administrative teams
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with functional leaders to align financial strategy with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, manufacturing operations highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
  • Experience with ERP systems such as EPICOR, NetSuite, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to think strategically and provide innovative financial solutions
