We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee financial operations and strategy for a healthcare organization in Long Beach, California. This role requires a dynamic leader who can guide a lean team while ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry experience and exceptional communication skills to drive success.
Job Responsibility:
Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasting to align with organizational goals
Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while identifying growth opportunities
Lead month-end close activities and ensure timely submission of financial statements
Collaborate with executives to provide insights into financial performance and strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and insurers
Manage and mentor a small, hands-on team to deliver operational excellence
Present financial data and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders
Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulatory requirements
Analyze financial risks and opportunities, implementing solutions to safeguard the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare industry
Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
CPA certification is highly preferred
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams
Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity within a lean, collaborative environment
