Infinite Lambda is a global data and AI Services-as-Software company on a mission to make innovation accessible. We help organisations build the data foundations and business context they need for enterprise AI to actually work: from modern data platforms to agentic enablement and our flagship product, Flowline. We are a Certified B Corporation present in 11 countries, and proud to nurture a workplace where decent human beings can do their best work. Curiosity is our default setting. Autonomy is non-negotiable. Impact is the point. We build together, learn together and face our challenges together. We are looking for a CFO who shares that mindset. Someone who will help us scale Infinite Lambda thoughtfully and sustainably, while staying true to who we are. As our CFO, you will be the strategic financial partner to our CEO and Exec team. This is not a back-office finance role. You will shape how we grow, where we invest, how we manage risk, and how we turn financial discipline into competitive advantage as we scale from a high-growth consultancy into a global data and AI leader. You will own the full breadth of strategic finance: from enterprise risk and governance, through capital and cash strategy, to funding, transformation and value creation. You will work hand-in-hand with the Exec team, our investors, and our banking partners, and you will be a visible leader across the business. You will inherit a small, capable finance team of two who have built strong foundations for the function. They currently sit under Operations and the COO, however the time has come to separate that and give it a life of its own. Your job is to lead them, grow the team thoughtfully as the business scales, and turn finance into a strategic engine for the company. Close partnership with our COO will be central to this role. Many of the levers that move our business – workforce strategy, utilisation, operational efficiency, delivery economics – sit at the intersection of finance and operations. We expect the CFO and COO to operate as a tight pair.

Requirements
Senior finance leadership experience in a consulting or professional services environment, ideally within technology, data or AI consultancies
Experience leading and growing a finance team: you know how to get the most from a small team today and how to scale it sensibly tomorrow
You have operated across the scale spectrum: you know what an early-stage startup needs, what a scale-up needs, and what an enterprise needs, because you have built finance functions through more than one of those stages
Proven track record at CFO or deputy-CFO level, or a finance director who is genuinely ready for the step up
Direct experience with Exec team and audit committee engagement
Multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ideally across the UK, EU, US and emerging markets

Comfortable and confident with finance technology, with a strong appetite for adopting and getting the most out of new tools and systems
You think strategically before you think operationally, and you can do both
You build trust with Exec teams, investors, and bankers because you are straight with them
You lead teams the way we like to be led – with autonomy, clarity and respect
You are curious about the business beyond the numbers and care about people, clients, and technology
You bring rigour without bureaucracy. Life is too short for red tape
You are aligned with our company values. This matters to us.
