Our client, a highly respected mission-driven organization, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and the Board. This is a highly visible opportunity to lead financial strategy, strengthen operations, and help guide the organization's long-term growth and sustainability.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance
  • Direct annual audit and financial statement preparation
  • Ensure grant compliance and funding accountability
  • Manage government and private funding requirements
  • Oversee cash flow, banking, and liquidity planning

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CFO, VP Finance, or senior nonprofit finance leadership experience
  • Significant experience managing government and grant-funded revenue streams
  • Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Strong nonprofit accounting, compliance, and audit expertise
  • Experience presenting to Boards, Finance Committees, and executive leadership
  • Proven ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Nice to have

  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Experience overseeing HR, IT, and administrative functions
  • ERP/finance transformation experience
  • Background supporting complex, multi-department organizations
  • Strong grant compliance, reimbursement, and fund management experience
