Chief Executive Officer role for ICES (Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences), a not-for-profit corporation. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional leader to shape the next chapter and continue to advance ICES as a lead scientific institution and system partner in health research/analytics and data management. The CEO must provide strong leadership in the rapidly evolving landscape of science, technology, and data, driven by emerging analytic capabilities such as Artificial Intelligence.

Accelerate modernization of data management and analysis infrastructure and practices
Safeguard health information, public trust and confidence in the use of data to inform public policy
Ensure ICES’ research/analytics reflects and serves the diverse population of Ontario
Lead the organization through a defining moment in its evolution
Shape the next chapter and continue to advance ICES as a lead scientific institution and system partner in health research/analytics and data management
Requirements:
Progressively senior leadership roles within a research and/or healthcare environment
Experience leading impactful system changes
Experience conceiving, leading, and successfully executing innovative strategies
Expertise in complex data and technology environments (ideal)
Demonstrated ability to build exceptional relationships with scientists, health system partners, government, diverse communities, and Indigenous peoples
Credentials at an executive level
Strong academic background (Master’s degree or higher)
Demonstrated ability to champion equity, diversity, and inclusion
Comfort working in research/analytics, health system, and scientific environments
Ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility in the field
Visionary with ability to lead change, business performance, team building, strategy development and organizational growth
