Job Responsibility:
Leading Renascent in pursuit of its critical mission, engaging the organization and community in the achievement of strategic goals and vision
Overall leadership of Renascent’s programs, services and operations, community and government relations, fund-raising and social enterprise, and property management and development.
Requirements:
Proven reputation as a dynamic builder of networks, systems, and partnerships to strengthen organizational capacity, scale programs and services, and equip the organization to meet future needs and challenges
Excellent organizational leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and engage teams, drive quality and performance, and manage risk and complex organizational issues
Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with funders, including provincial government stakeholders, with a deep understanding of government funding mechanisms and a proven ability to diversify funding streams
Exceptional business acumen, combining strategic vision, strong financial stewardship, and effective communication to build organizational resilience and position teams for sustainable success
Experience working with not-for-profit boards and a solid understanding of best-practice governance protocols
Post-secondary education in health care, social services, health administration, business, or a related discipline
A values-based belief system that promotes a culture of compassion, community, collaboration, and lived experience, and is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
Experience in senior leadership roles within healthcare or social service organizations is considered a strong asset, bringing valuable insight into sector-specific challenges, opportunities, and community impact
Above all, a strong personal connection to Renascent’s mission, with a profound commitment to supporting and transforming the lives of individuals living with addiction.
