Job Responsibility:

  • Leading Renascent in pursuit of its critical mission, engaging the organization and community in the achievement of strategic goals and vision
  • Overall leadership of Renascent’s programs, services and operations, community and government relations, fund-raising and social enterprise, and property management and development.

  • Proven reputation as a dynamic builder of networks, systems, and partnerships to strengthen organizational capacity, scale programs and services, and equip the organization to meet future needs and challenges
  • Excellent organizational leadership capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and engage teams, drive quality and performance, and manage risk and complex organizational issues
  • Demonstrated success in building strong relationships with funders, including provincial government stakeholders, with a deep understanding of government funding mechanisms and a proven ability to diversify funding streams
  • Exceptional business acumen, combining strategic vision, strong financial stewardship, and effective communication to build organizational resilience and position teams for sustainable success
  • Experience working with not-for-profit boards and a solid understanding of best-practice governance protocols
  • Post-secondary education in health care, social services, health administration, business, or a related discipline
  • A values-based belief system that promotes a culture of compassion, community, collaboration, and lived experience, and is deeply committed to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice
