Chief Engineer

• Lead all engineering and maintenance operations across assigned properties
• Ensure asset reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Manage and develop a high-performing engineering team
• Oversee all building systems—mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs
• Direct renovation and capital projects
• Develop and manage engineering budgets
• Champion sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives
• Respond swiftly and effectively to technical or guest-related issues

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience in engineering or facilities management within upscale or luxury hospitality
• At least five years in a senior leadership role
• Expert knowledge of building systems, maintenance planning, energy management, and statutory compliance
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets, capital projects, and multi-site technical teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability under pressure
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in professional English
