Job Description:

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Chief Engineer is responsible to assist the team in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition.

Job Responsibility:

  • Efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards
  • Meeting employee, guest and owner expectations
  • Assisting the team in ensuring the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments
  • Supplying services as required to the entire operation
  • Maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition

Requirements:

  • University degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and/or Building Management
  • Minimum 2 years' work experience as Chief Engineer or Engineering Manager
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Airframe Primary and Secondary Structural Design including Systems Installations

  • Provide technical engineering leadership to all team members to accomplish the Program requirements
  • Define individual goals and expected results for engineering employees in order to support the group and department
  • Apply BOE and other methodologies to implement and improve business processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and meet strategic goals
  • Ensure effective management of all aspects of technical engineering associated to Structures, Systems Installations, and Integration by closely working with other engineering departments, internal and external customers, and Structural partners/Suppliers
  • Work closely with the employees to continuously develop skills of team members through coaching, employee training and development, ongoing assessment, and feedback with the objective to build and sustain an environment that supports cooperation, employee engagement and trust
  • Maintain technical knowledge and awareness of developments related to Airframe Structure and Systems Installation
  • Support manpower planning activities and budget preparation
