Job Description:

Manages all engineering/maintenance operations at The St. Regis Langkawi, oversees budget and asset protection, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads emergency response efforts in a luxury hospitality setting.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all engineering/maintenance operations
maintain the building, grounds, and physical plant with attention towards safety, security, and asset protection
manage the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation
ensure regulatory compliance
lead the emergency response team for facility issues
supervise Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering
manage the physical plant including equipment, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems
manage controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
establish and manage an effective rooms maintenance program
provide exceptional customer service
manage human resources activities by celebrating team successes, treating employees fairly, and soliciting feedback

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
