Job Description:

Manages all engineering/maintenance operations at Renaissance Izmir Hotel, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all engineering/maintenance operations
Maintain building, grounds and physical plant with attention to safety and security
Manage budget and capital expenditure projects
Oversee preventative maintenance and energy conservation
Maintain regulatory requirements
Lead emergency response team for facility issues
Supervise Engineering in absence of Director of Engineering
Manage physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems
Establish and manage rooms maintenance program
Manage department's controllable expenses
Select and order new equipment, supplies, and furnishings
Inspect and evaluate physical condition of facilities
Supervise day to day operations of Engineering

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
2 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
