BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors, is hiring a Control Systems Engineering Co-Op student for our engineering department at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, TN. In this position you will be supporting the Ordnance Systems (OSI) Business at our Kingsport, TN facility. This position will be full-time (40 hours a week) onsite at our Kingsport, TN facility. Relocation may be offered, but housing is not offered. As part of our Ordnance Systems team, you will be working alongside some of the industry's top talent on the forefront of energetics technology. We are currently hiring a Control Systems Engineer Co-Op who will be part of a group responsible for the design, implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of the complete system, including PLC/DCS (Distributed Control System) controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI's), and associated communication networks for process control and/or monitoring applications. This position works on capital improvement projects and chemical production support at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, TN.
