Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the operational management and effective daily leadership and administration of the engineering team
Ensure the highest level of professionalism and a commitment to achieving the goal of 100% uptime
Responsible for protecting and improving the value of the client’s assets and ensuring building engineering systems perform their intended function
Implement and manage the reliability-based maintenance function
Execute equipment inspection and monitoring programs
Define and implement maintenance best practices
Monitors operation and maintains refrigeration, water cooling and air conditioning equipment, boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water equipment, pumps, valves, piping and filters, other mechanical and electrical equipment
Insures the availability of an adequate inventory of tools and other supplies
Responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors
Identify safety hazards and incorporate remediation
Implement, administer, and manage safety training program
Ensure compliance of all regulatory laws and guidelines
Maintain all infrastructure and compliance documentation
Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training and personal development
Ensure the CFWA (Critical Facility Work Authorization) is a well-understood process
Provides training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the operations staff
Requirements:
7+ years facility related work experience, including customer service, leadership and supervisory experience
Managerial experience
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes
Understands aspects of construction planning and execution
Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation
Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice to have:
Associate’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment)
