Job Responsibility

  • Maintain full accounting books in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, and others)
  • Prepare reports for external institutions (GUS, NBP, and others)
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Supervise the proper flow of accounting documents and internal processes
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adapt accounting procedures accordingly
  • Optimize and improve accounting processes
  • Represent the company during external audits and in dealings with the Social Insurance - Institution (ZUS) and other authorities
  • Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Chief Accountant
  • Strong practical knowledge of Polish accounting standards and current tax regulations
  • Higher education in accounting or a related field
  • Proven ability to design and implement accounting processes and procedures
  • High level of conscientiousness, accuracy, and dedication to assigned responsibilities
  • Polish C1+ and English B2+
  • Ability to work from our office in Wroclaw
