Chief Accountant

• Organizing, managing, and controlling the company’s overall financial and accounting activities
• Preparing and presenting monthly and annual financial statements and declarations in accordance with the Accountancy Act, Corporate Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Personal Income Tax Act, and other applicable regulations
• Performing internal financial control and analyzing business operations
• Preparing and submitting declarations, reports, and statistical filings to the National Revenue Agency, National Social Security Institute, National Statistical Institute, and other institutions
• Ensuring compliance with current tax, social security, and labor legislation
• Supporting management in making financial decisions and developing the company’s accounting policies
• Liaising with auditors, banks, government authorities, counterparties, and suppliers
• Performing other specifically assigned duties related to the position

• Higher education degree in Accounting
• More than 5 years of professional experience in the field
• More than 2 years of experience in a managerial position
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework in the field of accounting reporting and internal financial control
• Very good knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework related to tax and social security legislation
• Knowledge of the fundamental principles of labor and civil legislation
• Experience working with accounting software
• Experience working with Dynamics ERP system will be considered an advantage
• Good communication skills
• Excellent command of MS Office – Word and Excel
• Excellent command of English
• Strong decision-making skills and sense of responsibility
