Requirements

Hands-on laboratory experience working with various chemicals/materials/polymers
Experience in basic synthetic chemistry (small molecules or polymer synthesis)
Understanding of a range of analytical instrumentation tools (e.g., polymer rheology, DSC, GPC, spectroscopic methods)
Good written and verbal technical communication skills
Ability to design, execute, and appropriately document experiments
Ability to effectively interpret and present scientific data
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
M.S./Ph.D. in Biomedical / Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials, Polymers, Textiles, or related scientific discipline

Job Responsibility

Help with the development of new chemical formulations (hydrogels, coatings, viscoelastic materials, etc.), and test methods for characterizing those formulations
Synthesis and chemical modifications of polymers
Determination of their physico-chemical properties by various analytical instrumentation methods
Assessment of functional performance both in-vitro and in-vivo
Plan and conduct scientific experiments
Effectively analyze, interpret, and present experimental results while collaborating with team members from a variety of backgrounds
Adapt to changing requirements
Contribute intellectually to areas not directly related to his or her field

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in organic chemistry, pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry or a closely related discipline
Minimum 5 years of post-doctoral or industrial experience in peptide chemistry, with demonstrable expertise in both formulation development and analytical characterization
Strong understanding of peptide degradation mechanisms (hydrolysis, oxidation, racemisation, aggregation) and experience with stability assessment and optimization

Job Responsibility

Contribute to CMC sections of IND/CTA and NDA/MAA regulatory dossiers
Support technology transfer activities to internal manufacturing operations and external partners
Act as a scientific expert in cross-functional project teams spanning R&D, quality, and manufacturing
Keep up to date with developments in peptide drug delivery, formulation science, and relevant analytical technologies

Job Responsibility

Lead original research at the intersection of quantum chemistry, quantum algorithms, and HPC, from concept through prototype and tech transfer
Design and implement classical–quantum workflows that couple large-scale classical simulations with NISQ and fault-tolerant quantum algorithms (e.g., for ground states, excited states, and real-time dynamics)
Extend and optimize production-quality scientific codes (e.g., electronic structure, quantum Monte Carlo, many-body simulation) to run efficiently on heterogeneous HPC architectures
Develop resource-estimation and performance-modeling tools for quantum chemistry and materials simulations on future quantum hardware
Collaborate with internal hardware, systems, and software teams to shape HPC+QC co-design, including workflows that span supercomputers, cloud resources, and quantum accelerators
Partner with external institutions (national labs, academic groups, and consortia) on multi-institutional research programs, including joint publications and code releases
Publish in top-tier venues in quantum information, computational physics/chemistry, and HPC, and represent HPE at major conferences and workshops
Mentor and technically guide a team of researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of high-quality software, rigorous benchmarks, and open scientific exchange
