An opportunity for a Socio-Economic Analysis (SEA) expert to join a specialist consultancy and work on chemical industry projects that evaluate chemical regulatory trade-offs between the benefits of restricting chemicals and, the impact on industry and the economy. This new position will take a lead role in multi-disciplinary project teams working on UK and EU REACH Authorisation and Restriction programmes. You will provide expert advice to chemical producers on Assessment of Alternatives, economic impact assessments and the impacts on human health, the environment and society.

Requirements:
Socio-economic analysis (SEA) experience ideally in the chemical / REACH area
Previous experience with REACH Authorisation or Restriction
Knowledge of how to assess substitutions (technically or economically)
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Willingness to take a lead on projects
Excellent written communication skills
Ability to write clear and concise summaries of highly complex subjects
