Job Description

A hybrid opportunity for a Hazard Communication / Chemical Regulatory Affairs Officer or Specialist to join an international chemicals business. This is not a routine day-to-day compliance role, you will be working on projects to implement changes to chemical regulations – challenging, diverse and rewarding. In this role you will use your knowledge of CLP, SDS authoring, classification and labelling to develop compliant systems for the product stewardship team. A typical project may involve researching a regulatory change to a classification, assessing the impact to the company’s products and then updating SDSs accordingly. Another could be raw material data validation and migration; your role is to assess what needs to be done and then implement the actions to ensure ongoing compliance. The role will be very diverse and include working with global regulations. We are looking for an SDS Author, hazard communication or regulatory officer with existing CLP knowledge – ideally some understanding of REACH – who is looking for a new and challenging opportunity. This is not a day-day regulatory operational support role, it is focussing on project to implement regulatory change, new product registrations and enable market access in new regions by researching/implementing the necessary regulatory procedures and developing systems.

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, occupational health or related field
