Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Chemical Production Worker to join a dynamic industrial team for a seasonal project. This role is located in an industrial area of South East Calgary. While there is some transit access nearby, please note that due to the early start time and industrial location, having reliable personal transportation is highly recommended to ensure punctuality. The shift runs from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, though these hours may occasionally be adjusted based on production needs. This is a physically demanding, "on-the-floor" role where you will be a key player on the chemical team, working with pipes, flanges, and raw materials.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform labor-intensive prep work on pipes, flanges, and hoses for chemical coating
  • Handle and transport chemical drums and raw materials safely
  • Load and unload heavy industrial pipes and components in and out of curing ovens
  • Utilize a sit-down counterbalance forklift to move large materials
  • Assist the team with specific hose preparation and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace on the production floor at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a chemical production or industrial labor environment
  • Experience with a Sit-Down Counterbalance forklift is highly preferred
  • Comfort with heavy lifting and working in a heated industrial environment
