Our client “The Carinda Hotel” is seeking experienced chef to join their team. To be considered for the position you must have extensive experience working in a busy restaurant kitchen.
Job Responsibility
Planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
Preparing and cooking food
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and Kitchen staff
Demonstrating techniques
Enforcing hygiene regulations
May select and train staff
May freeze and preserve foods
Requirements
2+ years experience
Experience training, developing and mentoring kitchen teams
Strong communication skills
Willingness to lead and demonstrate passion cooking
