We are The Light, providing a unique immersive experience that surprises and delights our guests across 14 locations in the UK. We offer a wide range of activities; cinema, bowling, karaoke, darts, mini golf, climbing walls, bars, and kitchens – we have it all! We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dedicated and dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a section and working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced quick-service environment. They should be capable of producing high-quality, well-presented food while maintaining cleanliness standards and adhering to all kitchen policies, including health and safety regulations.

Job Responsibility

Prepping and cooking food to a high standard
Keeping your section organised, clean, and running smoothly
Supporting your team to make sure service runs like clockwork
Maintaining high standards in food quality, presentation, and safety
Working closely with the wider team to deliver a great experience for every guest

Requirements

Experience working as a chef in a fast-paced kitchen
Hands- on, sleeves-up attitude
Confident running your own section during busy service
A passion for well-presented, great-tasting food
A strong team player who brings positivity and energy to every shift
Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
