• Prepare, season, and cook complete dishes and meals, including breakfast and lunch offerings, ensuring high-quality standards in presentation and taste
• Plan, develop, and refine menus in collaboration with management, including seasonal and special event menus, to align with café concept and customer preferences
• Supervise, train, and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts, monitoring performance, and ensuring effective teamwork
• Maintain quality control of ingredients and finished dishes, ensuring compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations
• Order, monitor, and maintain adequate stock levels of food and kitchen supplies, controlling costs and minimizing waste
• Ensure coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations to facilitate smooth service delivery
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safe working practices in the kitchen, adhering to occupational health and safety standards
• Monitor food costs, implement budget controls, and optimize resource use to ensure efficient kitchen operations

• Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role
• Preferred, qualifications in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
• Availability to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays, with flexible shifts
• Strong communication and leadership skills to manage kitchen staff effectively
• Demonstrated excellence in cooking, time management, and kitchen organization
