Part time Chef position located in Virginia, Brisbane. Monday - Friday position. Free onsite parking/close to public transport.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
Ensure the safe production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided
Requirements:
Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery or 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, high-volume setting
Ability to work within budgets
Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
