We are looking for People who are devoted to great service, fantastic food, and making a positive impact. This is a site-based role, working directly in our school kitchen. You won’t just be behind a till or in a restaurant - you’ll be hands-on preparing, cooking, and serving meals that children genuinely enjoy.
Job Responsibility:
Assisting the onsite Chef Manager with the preparation and serving of all meals, including supper
In sole charge of cooking suppers for 10 - 20 pupils Monday to Thursday
Preparing main meals and snacks using fresh, seasonal ingredients, cooking for a volume of 200+ each day
Occasionally covering Holiday Club sessions
Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Requirements:
Assisting the onsite Chef Manager with the preparation and serving of all meals
Confident working & cooking independently
Preparing main meals and snacks using fresh, seasonal ingredients, cooking for a volume of 200+ each day
Keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
Undergo an enhanced DBS check
