The college refectories are very busy catering operations offering a food service to our students, staff, and visitors to the College. Most of the time the hours will be daytime but on occasions, it will require providing catering for the commercial activities which take place in the evenings and weekends.
Job Responsibility:
Working as part of a multi-site refectory team
Responsible for the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers
Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
Leading a small team day to day
Supporting with cashing up and banking
Providing catering for commercial activities which take place in the evenings and weekends
Requirements:
Is passionate about food and takes pride in their work
Can consistently deliver great quality food and service
Has experience working in a busy catering or kitchen environment
Holds a relevant food/catering qualification (e.g. Food Production, Commis Chef)
Is flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to changing demands
