Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Chef / Food & Beverage Manager to create and prepare meals for meetings and events, while managing kitchen operations and ensuring food safety compliance. We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to prepare lunches and meals for meetings and events. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, and able to work independently. Hours vary upon company meeting schedule. Some travel may be required from time to time.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality meals for meeting lunches and special events
  • Create menus appropriate for various occasions and dietary needs
  • Order and maintain pantry and food supplies
  • Ensure kitchen and café areas are clean and sanitary
  • Follow food safety guidelines and health regulations
  • Manage budget and make recommendations for cost savings

Requirements:

  • Culinary experience required
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to manage food inventory and supplies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Experience managing & balancing budgets
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
