Job Description:

Join a talented brigade of nine chefs delivering exceptional fine-dining experiences, from elegant plated dishes to beautifully crafted canapés and premium hospitality bites. This Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm role offers the perfect blend of work–life balance and culinary challenge in a refined, professional environment. You’ll take ownership of your station and contribute to the preparation of high-end canapés, finger foods, bowl food and premium event menus. Working closely with senior chefs, you’ll ensure every item—whether a delicate canapé or a large-batch fine-dining dish—is delivered with impeccable presentation and consistency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, assemble and present luxury canapés, fine-dining bites, and high-volume menu items
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail in both small-format and plated dishes
  • Run your section confidently throughout the 7:30am–4:00pm day
  • Work collaboratively within a nine-chef brigade to deliver efficient, seamless service
  • Uphold strict HACCP, allergen, hygiene and food safety standards
  • Support mise en place for large-volume hospitality events and corporate functions
  • Keep your station clean, organised and fully compliant at all times
  • Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, labelling and correct storage procedures
  • Help guide and support junior team members when required

Requirements:

  • Experience preparing high-end canapés, bowl food and event-style fine-dining items
  • Background in AA Rosette, Michelin or luxury 5-star kitchens
  • Ability to handle high-volume service with precision and calm
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and a commitment to exceptional presentation
