At the Graduate Cambridge by Hilton, our restaurant, bar, terrace, and event spaces showcase fresh, seasonal dishes in a relaxed riverside setting. We’re now looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team — someone who takes pride in their craft, delivers consistency under pressure, and wants to grow within a supportive, values-led environment. If you’re ambitious, detail-driven, and ready to take ownership of your section, this is the role for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Running your section confidently and efficiently during service
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to brand and menu standards
  • Assisting with menu development and daily specials
  • Supporting mise en place, prep, and kitchen organisation
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety
  • Helping to train and guide commis chefs and junior team members
  • Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis in a quality-driven kitchen
  • Solid cooking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
  • A genuine passion for food, hospitality, and teamwork
  • A proactive attitude with the ambition to grow and develop your career
