As Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Chef and wider kitchen team in the preparation and delivery of fresh, high-quality meals for staff, visitors, and corporate hospitality functions. You will be responsible for managing your designated section efficiently while maintaining excellent food safety and presentation standards. The successful candidate will be organised, creative, reliable, and passionate about food and customer service.
Job Responsibility
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your designated kitchen section
Support daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards at all times
Assist with menu preparation, stock rotation, and food storage procedures
Ensure all food is prepared to agreed quality and presentation standards
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
Monitor portion control and minimise food waste
Support with ordering, stock checks, and inventory management when required
Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff
Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organised
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
Excellent knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
Strong understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Passion for delivering high-quality food and service
Organised, proactive, and reliable approach to work

Professional cookery qualification
Experience within corporate hospitality, healthcare, or contract catering
