Job Description

Bert’s Bar & Brasserie is in looking for an exceptional casual Chef de Partie to join this award-winning team. To be successful in this team, experience cooking in high-end kitchens is desirable and you’ll be expected to be able to run your own section, organise workflows and MEP. Your excellent food safety, communication, and positive outlook will propel you forward within this team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a high-end or hatted restaurant and love working with the best seasonal produce
  • Adaptable, organised, and professional with an eye for detail
  • Experience with charcoal oven and grill would be ideal or keen to learn
  • Knowledge around preparing shellfish, whole fish and roast meats preferred
  • Work in a busy open kitchen, so being well presented and cool, calm and collected is important
