Job Responsibility:

Assist senior chefs with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
Ensuring that your section and team operates to optimum efficiency by organising, supporting and coaching the team to Lucas Restaurants’ standards

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie in a premium, a-la-carte restaurant
Pasta experience essential
Exceptional communication
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and lead a team
Understanding of Food Safety and OH&S standards and compliance
Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown, and handover to standard
Knowledge and ability to use correct techniques and follow procedures and recipes when preparing and cooking menu items
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
Calm and composed demeanour
Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Pasta experience highly regarded
