Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Chef de Partie to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking a passionate and Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career. You will have post apprenticeship experience working in a kitchen team within large restaurants, events, hotels or resorts, to working with a group of like-minded legends. A la carte and buffet experience will be highly regarded, HACCP training is advantageous.
Job Responsibility
Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service
Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, ordering of kitchen supplies
Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure kitchen is running smoothly and efficiently
Assist senior chefs when necessary during regular administration activities like End Of Month, stock take count, inventories etc.
Requirements
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Post apprenticeship experience working in a kitchen team within large restaurants, events, hotels or resorts
A la carte and buffet experience highly regarded
HACCP training advantageous
