Job Responsibility:

  • Manage kitchen operations and ensure compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures
  • Estimate daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicates production needs to kitchen personnel daily
  • Assist Head and Sous Chef with all kitchen operations and preparations
  • Prepare and cook dishes, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions
  • Develop, design and create new applications, ideas, relationships, systems, or products, including artistic contributions
  • Assist in determining how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays
  • Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
  • Train employees in safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
  • Passion for the industry
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
