Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Support the Kitchen team in daily kitchen operations
  • Manage your section efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of dishes during service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control and ordering when required
  • Ensure all food preparation complies with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
  • Candidate must be available for up to a 6 week period and be happy to work on a shift basis covering Friday/Sat and Sunday shifts. The hours are set at 11 am - 7.00 pm

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a busy kitchen environment
  • Immediate availability for a temporary 6-week contract
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Flexibility to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends on a rota basis
  • Availability to work from 11 am to 7 pm, with a total of 40 hours per week
  • Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service
