Job Description

Gaucho are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our GAUCHO Glasgow restaurant! You will need to be experienced in working as a Chef de Partie in a fresh food kitchen, and be extremely passionate about food. As a Chef de Partie you will have experience managing a section and working as part of a busy team in a fast paced environment. You must be able to deliver dishes following a spec, and have a genuine love for cooking.

Requirements

  • Have worked in a high-pressure kitchen environment
  • Will have a passion for fresh produce
  • Be able to run a section and manage a small team
  • Be organised and able to communicate effectively with a team.

  • Delivering consistent, beautifully presented dishes to brief, every single time
  • Setting up and maintaining strong mise en place and keeping your section clean and organised
  • Following all food safety, allergen and HACCP procedures to the letter
  • Supporting and helping to train Commis Chefs and newer team members
  • Managing stock on your section, minimising waste and supporting accurate ordering
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen and front of house to deliver smooth, calm services
  • Bringing energy and ideas as the menus evolve with the seasons
