Job Description:

Prepare and cook food, ensure quality and standards, assist and train team members, and follow safety procedures at Shunde Marriott Hotel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • pull food from freezer storage to thaw
  • ensure proper portion, arrangement, and garnish
  • maintain food logs
  • monitor food quality and quantity
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes
  • prepare cold foods
  • assist management in hiring, training, and motivating employees
  • follow company safety policies and procedures
  • communicate and address guest service needs
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships

Requirements:

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
