Job Responsibility

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to company and legal standards
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times
  • Support the team during a dynamic service which includes the Heliot Steak House, event catering and service across the Hippodrome
  • Manage stock control and minimise waste

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef in a busy kitchen
  • Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
  • Relevant food hygiene and safety certificates
  • A professional, positive and results focused work ethic
  • You must be over 18 years of age
