Job Responsibility
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest quality standards
Manage and maintain your assigned kitchen section efficiently
Support the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations
Ensure all food is prepared and served in line with recipes and brand standards
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control
Maintain excellent food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
Support the training and development of junior kitchen team members
Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service
Requirements
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready for progression
Passion for food, hospitality, and guest satisfaction
Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen best practices
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Nice to have
Experience within a hotel kitchen environment
Formal culinary qualifications
Experience in banqueting, events, or high-volume food service operations
