Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Chef de Partie to join our catering team at Rock Barracks. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in producing high-quality food for service personnel. You will be part of a supportive kitchen team delivering daily meals while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals to required service and Company standards
  • Take responsibility for your section, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Support the Head Chef and senior team with daily kitchen operations
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health, and safety
  • Assist with stock control, food rotation, and allergen management
  • Work effectively as part of the team to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Chef de Partie or equivalent) preferred
  • Culinary qualifications desirable (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible and reliable with the ability to work early and late shifts
  • Passion for delivering quality food and service
