Chefs de Partie oversee specific kitchen stations and ensure the consistent production of high-quality food items across all Legends Culinary operations, including concessions, suites, catering, and premium dining. They supervise First and Second Cooks and provide hands-on leadership in preparation, presentation, and service execution. The CDP upholds Legends’ culinary standards through organization, technical skill, and mentorship, maintaining efficiency, safety, and quality in all assigned areas.
Job Responsibility:
Supervise assigned kitchen stations and oversee daily food preparation and service
Direct and support First and Second Cooks in production, plating, and service flow
Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation align with Legends’ standards
Coordinate with Sous Chefs on production schedules, event menus, and special functions
Train, coach, and develop cooks to enhance consistency and technical skills
Maintain inventory accuracy, control waste, and manage station ordering
Ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment remain clean, organized, and operational
Enforce HACCP, sanitation, and food safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu innovation, presentation techniques, and efficiency improvements
Perform event and post-shift reports, ensuring all assigned sections are reset and ready for the next service
Requirements:
Red Seal or equivalent culinary certification required
Minimum 6 years of professional cooking experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or CDP role
Proven experience in fine dining, banquets, and large-scale production
Familiarity with inventory control and menu costing
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
