We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join a professional kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes to specification while maintaining excellent hygiene, quality and food cost control standards.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, cook and present dishes according to recipes and standards
Support menu development and seasonal menu planning
Ensure dishes meet taste, quality and presentation standards before service
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across your workstation and kitchen areas
Follow HACCP, food hygiene, health and safety regulations at all times
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior chefs
Minimise waste through correct food handling and storage
Assist with training and mentoring junior chefs and apprentices
Communicate effectively within the kitchen team and with front-of-house staff
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including allergens
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
Passion for food quality and presentation
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
