Job Description:

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Department for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). This role is crucial in supervising and coordinating the production of high-quality dishes while maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation of food items according to standard procedures and recipes, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff, assist in training, and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
  • Participate in menu development, tasting menus, and special occasion productions
  • Manage requisitions, inventory, and proper storage of ingredients, ensuring adherence to portion standards and minimizing waste
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, and ensure all culinary operations meet Four Seasons standards
  • Collaborate closely with all chefs and service staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece
  • Previous experience in a similar supervisory culinary role is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and hot kitchen operations, food preparation, and culinary standards
  • Ability to lead and train kitchen staff effectively
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • proficiency in Greek is an advantage
  • Food Service Sanitation certification is an asset
