Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Pastry Chef De Partie to produce pastry and bakery items for all of the restaurants food concepts at Estelle Manor.

Job Responsibility

  • Produce high quality pastry and bakery items for all of the restaurants food concepts at Estelle Manor
  • assist and engage with the kitchens senior leadership in managing all food health & safety related standards, ensuring the guests and members experience is always exceptional and memorable
  • work in the pastry kitchen preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following our recipes
  • decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be modern, beautiful, exciting and appetising
  • be responsible for effective stock control within the Pastry section and to control and record all wastage
  • have good communication skills and proficiently liaise with all departments on an ongoing basis
  • close relationships with front of house operational teams.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a kitchen department in a luxury / lifestyle multi-outlet food and beverage operation
  • stays up to date with current food trends and best practices
  • previous proven experience creating pastry and bakery items
  • passionate about delivering exceptional guest experience with keen attention to detail
  • a genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
